• Settings: saved in Chrome storage (sync/local) to remember preferences and show your own usage totals.

What We Do NOT Do

• No personal data collection or transmission
• No browsing history tracking
• No cookies or analytics
• No remote code or third-party scripts

Permissions and Purpose

• clipboardWrite: copy selected text
• storage: store preferences and local usage counters
• contextMenus: right‑click “Copy Selected Text”
• activeTab/host permissions: enable content script on pages you visit

Data Sharing

None. No third parties receive your data.

Data Retention and Control

Settings persist until changed or the extension is removed. Local counters can be cleared in the extension UI.

Security

All processing occurs locally within your browser.
